A Love Worth Waiting For Indeed

A Love Worth Waiting For is the first book I've read by Ms. Walker and it is a sweet, refreshing story of friends who eventually become sweethearts.  Chris Howard loses his wife in an accident, returns home and comes close to drowning in his sorrow. When he finally surfaces, Tina, his childhood friend begins to look like a special gift that he overlooked because the time wasn't right.

I like the family interaction in the story and the fact Chris' relatives provide solid support for him and his little daughter.

Tina doesn't have this strong support base and a bad experience makes her shy away from being involved with anyone. Chris, however, makes the difference as he's always been her hero.

The romance is sweet and I was rooting for both characters to find their happiness together. While this is a sweet romance, the characters do have a nice bit of chemistry going on, which makes things realistic.

I look forward to reading more from Ms. Walker.
